I got really good value for my money at this hotel. The room was nice and the furniture was great. The location was perfect, with a beautiful park nearby, and the staff was friendly and treated me well.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was the variety of food for breakfast.

We had a great experience staying at Palace in Govora. The hotel is nicely renovated and the rooms are a good size with nice furniture. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, always available to assist us. The hotel and its surroundings are very clean, including the beautiful park next to it. We particularly enjoyed the food at the restaurant, both breakfast and dinner were amazing. The breakfast spread was tasteful and constantly replenished, even when we arrived a bit late. the choices for lunch and dinner were great, although we would have appreciated more dessert options. This hotel is highly recommended for wheelchair-dependent individuals, young families with children, and anyone seeking a quiet, elegant, and clean stay.

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The best aspects were the beautiful old French architecture, spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds, and friendly staff who were always ready to assist us. We also enjoyed the location near a peaceful park with endless walking paths, and the convenience of private parking and small shops within walking distance.

Additionally, the location of the hotel near the park and tourist attractions in Valcea county was perfect for exploring the area. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The spa and pool facilities are not up to par, with issues ranging from ineffective Kneipp baths to lack of steam in the steam room and unsupervised children in the pool area.

our recent city break in baile govora was a delight, and Palace was the cherry on top! The elegant, recently refurbished hotel, situated on a hill near a beautiful park, exceeded all our expectations. The spacious rooms, clean facilities, and delicious breakfast made our stay unforgettable.

My partner and I had the most amazing romantic escape in this beautiful art-deco hotel nestled in a gorgeous, green environment. The spacious rooms were filled with all the comforts we needed, and the restaurant was staffed by some of the friendliest people we've ever encountered. The food was also incredible, with a range of dishes on offer that never failed to impress. Best of all, the hotel was conveniently located close to key attractions, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Sadly, there were a few aspects of our stay that didn't quite hit the mark. Although the hotel was stunning and the service was fantastic, the spa was a bit of a letdown.
